short story
Out of this world delivery
“Make a wish” screamed Cheryl. Fedana rolled her eyes at her friend jumping up and down. If anything she was sick and tired of angel numbers. Of course you’re going to see repeating numbers all the time if you’re on your phone all day she thought annoyingly to herself. She just nodded at her friend and went back to her scrolling. She came across one of those infamous chain mail TikTok videos telling her not to skip. She noticed it had 1111 likes and 111 comments. Just a coincidence she thought to herself as she pushed her straggling braids back behind her shoulder. She threw her phone to the side and looked back at Cheryl who was grinning from ear to ear at something she was watching. She changed her focus to looking at the window. She was lucky that her parents bought their own land and built their house there instead of being in a subdivision or some crammed place. She loved looking over the river and trees they had on her property. She got entranced with two birds dancing around each other. She couldn’t make them out at first but as they got closer, she realized one wasn’t a bird and it was heading right towards her window! The almost robotic looking flying drown continued to maneuver around the bird chasing it and stopped right infront of Fedanas window. It stood their in the air for a good minute just staring at fedana with its holographic face before it changed expressions into a smile. The Bottom of the drone suddenly opened and out fell a medium sized box with a thud on the ground. The drone immediately flew off in haste before Fedana could even run outside to stop it. She jumped to her feet and quickly scurried down the steps and outside to where her window was making Cheryl snap out of the scrolling daze she was in. She shouted after Fedana but it sounded to far away for her to hear. Fedana had so many questions abou what had just happened and would think she was dreaming if it wasn’t for the cold breeze that chilled her skin when she stepped outside. Fedana proceeded to walk to the box and saw a finger print scanner on the top. At first she thought it had been a normal cardboard box, but now could tell that this was very strong and sturdy wood. Wood that could survive a two story drop and stay all entact. She heard Cheryl murmuring behind her but was tuning her out as she searched the sky for a sign of the drone.

RETURN
“RETURN” Part One -Walk About- By C.M. Richards Year 5022 A.D. My name is Leah and I’m going walkabout. My grandmother taught me, about the practice when I was just a young girl. She told me many things each night as our campfire would dance in her bright and wise eyes, making her appearance warm and kind. I remember everything she told me. She explained that the world is not for us, but we are for the world. It took me a while to work out what she meant but eventually, the penny dropped.

Heavy Fish
A curious fish marvels at the world existing just beyond his reflection—a body of water with strange looking heavy fish that appear to drag themselves along the floor. He spends his days studying them—trying to understand through the eyes of a fish. How can we truly understand anything, if we only see it in relation to our own reality and who sees things as they truly are?

THE SIREN’S STEAL
The young mermaid tilted her head, watching the visitors to her father’s palace watch her through the glass of her tank. One young child had the audacity to tap at the enclosure. She snarled in response, cocking her head, and wincing as she felt the drag of her new curling horns.

EXHIBIT 51
“And to your left, you’ll see our human exhibit!” the perky green-haired Martian exclaimed. She swept her arms out in welcome. “Exhibit 51!” Young aquarium viewers oohed and ahhed, taking pictures on small devices that fit in their webbed hands. They paddled closer around the glass tank, shoving each other to get a better view.

The World of Mermaids
“You know, mermaids aren’t real. They are fictional creatures!” A more level-headed friend once said to me. I shook my head and responded with, “Are you sure? You know, there was this one time at an aquarium where a seven year old girl set me straight! Now, I happen to believe she might just be right. Mermaids do exist!”

Can I talk to a live person at Facebook?
There are two main ways to connect with Facebook. One is the path of calling on their official number. The other way is to use the option of live chat. Once you have chosen any of the votes, you’ll be able to connect with the representative shortly. You only need to ensure that you have used authentic details to communicate with them. To utilise the live chat service, you have to make sure that you have created a business manager account. Through the manager account, you’ll be able to connect with the representative with the help of a chat option.
