Deuteronomy 14
In this Chapter of the Book of Deuteronomy is titled 'Clean ad Unclean Food'. It reminds me of a health lesson that tells someone what to eat and not to eat to stay healthy like certain meats, fish, fowl and even vegetables. It said not to eat an animal that chews its' cud, and what do we do in today's society by eating steak or 'cow' that chews it cud or eating pork which to them a pig was unclean. Today, I know that some people do eat roadkill if still fresh today, but back then it was not done.

Numbers 35
In reading Numbers Chapter 35 there is a section titled 'Cities of Refuge' and to fit this in with society today it mentions that if anybody kills accidently, they can go to that city and be safe till they have a trial to determine guilt or innocence. Not sure this reminds me of sanctuary in various locations now-a-days. It goes on with the idea of if one murders the murderer should be put to death by an avenger like a prosecutor. One must prove intentionality and enmity with more than one witness, and it finishes with not accepting ransom.

All the Leaves are Falling
In November when the leaves are falling what do I think of doing, but going out and raking them up into a huge pile and then jumping into that said pile. When I am done jumping and throwing up all the leaves begin raking them again, and I would do that at three times before raking them up and bagging them or placing them on a garden for some fertilizer when they decay into the soil and protecting the roots to some flowers from the cold and frost. Raking the leaves is a chore, but a fun chore for me.

The Book of Numbers
The Book of Numbers to me at the beginning seemed like the ancient world as it the chapter said is a census of all the people of the family tribes, and we still do a census every 10 years to see how things have increased or decreased due to various environmental crisis's, births/deaths, illnesses or cultural adversities that have occurred over 1o years. I mentioned in another drabble that it seemed to be an accounting of what needs to be done to create a community of believers to how much everything costs to do everything for self and the Lord.

Leviticus 18
I seem to have found Leviticus 18 one that I think could be used as part of a family therapy group for us to use with individuals of the family and small group intervention. This NIV chapter entitled 'Unlawful Sexual Relations' could be used in sharing what the inappropriate behaviors are with family and various other relations. At the end of this chapter they said that the perpetrator should be cut away from all others. All of us must remember this one phrase in all that we do day in and day out. "I am the Lord your God." Pray.

''Bridging the Divide: Addressing Political Polarization and Instability for a Stronger Democracy''. AI-Generated.
Introduction Political polarization is a growing issue worldwide, with increasing divisions along party, ideological, and cultural lines. This divide weakens democratic institutions, creates governance challenges, and fuels societal instability. When people are polarized, cooperation between political parties becomes difficult, resulting in ineffective policy-making, decreased public trust, and potential social unrest. Addressing political polarization is essential to fostering a more collaborative society and ensuring a stable, functioning democracy.

Leviticus 2
In a section entitled 'Eating Fat and Blood Forbidden' kind of reminded me of when some people would pull over and pick up roadkill no matter the animal, but mainly deer and at times possums or some such animal. The punishment in Leviticus is to cut off that person from the community. I do not think that would work today, but still I believe if one gets caught there is a fine of sorts, and actually unless you know that a certain person or family is really hurting that they have to eat roadkill you should offer help to them.

Leviticus 1
I have started reading Leviticus in the NIV Bible and I believe that in Chapter Six that these are possible ways for one to punished today in the criminal justice system, maybe. Maybe criminals and all who commit a crime should provide a Guilt offering of the crime(s) committed and to show atonement one must return what was stolen and provide some sort of restitution of the same or another proper value. Even if one sees as an accomplice that one should also speak up for, they are just as responsible, but depending on the punishment could be less. Pray.

Snicket #10
'The Slippery Slope' a Snicket novel of the Baudelaire's troublesome times is one where the siblings meet someone that they thought was dead while they are also separated from Sunny who found out quite a bit about herself in this edition of their story. There are many downs and a few ups in this story this for they meet some old 'friends' in this one as well. Violet and Klaus are also learning more about each other as well. Although Count Olaf and Esme are still the same, but some of their group seem to be changing just a bit.

A Winter Wish
Ah, to be in the North with snow, snow, snow and more snow. I am definitely a Winter type person. I am a person that likes shoveling snow and scraping car windows as long as it is not really thick ice. I am a person that likes making snow angels, snowmen, snowballs and snow forts. Also, making tracks in the snow following various animal tracks and watching the animals frolic all around. Then again, I also like hot chocolate with marshmallows or tea or even a glass of wine on a cold snowy night with a good book to read.

Exodus 6
Finishing up with the Book of Exodus to me is really about building the church and all that goes into the physical building as well as furnishing right down to the vestments that the 'priest' wears even to this day. All of this is down for to the Glory of The Lord. The other part before the building was Moses coming down and seeing 'the Golden Calf' his people have made for he was gone so long and the punishment they all received till finally seeing the wrong they did and now really see the Glory of the Lord. Pray.

Exodus 5
The Book of Exodus could be used by counselors and social workers to use in issues dealing with protection of property as well as teaching social responsibility. In the social responsibility area, it could teach how to be socially diverse and competent with other cultures as well as dealing with dealing with your neighbors to try and solve various troubles. In dealing with property if one does wrong there must be some form of retribution shown and given some way. Justice will be upheld and hopefully today mercy will also be shown to whomever needs. Let my people go now.
