The Washing Machine Death of 10-Day Old Maggie Mae
Lyndsey Fiddler stuffed her 10-day-old baby, Maggie Mae Trammel, into the washing machine with a pile of laundry. She proceeded to start the machine, never realizing she had placed the baby inside the washer. Lyndsey had smoked methamphetamines earlier in the day. After starting the machine, she laid down on the couch and dosed off. It was November 4, 2010, a day Rhonda Cashatt will never forget. She immediately knew something was wrong when she saw Lyndsey lying on the couch in a meth-induced whateverthefuck. In photo: Colon, Strickland, Lucas, Arbelo) Five students attending a Job Corps program lured another teen, 17-year-old Jose Arnaya Guardado, to a wooded area where they'd dug a grave and hid a machete. The five teens attacked Jose, who desperately fought for his life. The teens kicked and punched Jose repeatedly, then began smashing him in the face with the machete until it caved in. Jose was thrown into the grave and buried alive. Jose's brother found him deceased several days later. His face was so badly disfigured, Jose's brother barely recognized him.

The Lainz Angels of Death
Predominantly serial killers work alone, but every once in a while they cross paths and become a crime team. The Lainz Angels of Death is an extraordinary case in the fact that there were four of them. Maria Gruber, Irene Leidolf, Stephanija Meyer, and Waltraud Wagner were nurse aides at the Lainz General Hospital in Austria, who systematically murdered scores of patients between 1983 and 1989.

30 years have passed since The Silence of the Lambs (1991) was released, and goosebumps still reign in the wake of the psychological thriller. Eerie lines that conjure up images of Hannibal Lecter drinking red wine while devouring human organs, Buffalo Bill’s iconic locker room scene with a remarkable rib tattoo that has become a cult image, and the tension of the unforgettable shooting sequence in which Jodie Foster unwittingly enters the Belly of the beast.
