10 Stories of White Collar Crime Run Amok
If you ask most people what a criminal looks like, acts like, or does, they will talk about what criminals stereotypically are. Criminals are supposed to look rough. They're supposed to be violent, uneducated, and up to their wrists in drugs.

My Time in County Lock-up
As a first time female inmate, all I can really say is those jumpsuits are comfy. Growing up, I never would've seen myself behind bars. Even as a high schooler, I didn't engage in any criminal (to the most part) activity. I found myself to be a smart woman, knowing right from wrong and fully capable of making the right choices to avoid exactly such a thing.

'Searching' Is a Well-Directed Crime Thriller Complete with Suspense and Twists. Top Story - September 2018.
I've recently been writing my reviews using my made-up WASDO criteria in a vain attempt to give my film reviews some structure. But I've decided to stop doing that and just write this review from Searching off the top of my head.

10 Shocking Facts About the Bloods
Gangs are as much a part of American culture as apple pie and football—albeit, they are a side of Americana that most people don't really want to acknowledge. Many, many true crime books have been written on American gangs and the most infamous gangsters in history.

Confession Coverup
“Very few of us are what we seem,” Agatha Christie once said. This story seems like it was taken right out of the pages of the bestsellers novels, alas it is a true story of creed and an alleged modern-day Lady Macbeth. A story so convoluted that even Shonda Rhimes doesn’t want to adapt it. Here’s how a stage actor killed one person to steal money and then another to cover up the first and lead to his own downfall. Seriously.

The Horror Inside Us
A very wise man once told me there are five types of horror: Man vs. Man - your classic killer, slasher film. Run Billy, he's got a knife! Man vs. Mother Nature - fighting the elements can always be scary if you're not prepared. Man vs. Society - perhaps your classic "Purge" setting. Man vs. the Supernatural - paranormal activity peaks the interest of many people inhabiting the earth. Man vs. Himself

John Lennon's Killer Is Denied Parole
Here’s something entertaining to talk about: John Lennon’s killer is still trying to get parole! Because of course he is. I guess with everything else going on in the world, something like this was bound to pop up at some point.

Loving the Loveless Pt. 7
August 27, 2018 at 4:00pm MUSC, Charleston, SC Detective Derek Kyle He stood outside Brianna's private hospital room watching Dr. Sebastian Kane talk with her. For all that the doctor had blown into the trauma ward with all the force of a hurricane in human form, Brianna hadn't seemed afraid of him which was odd because everyone else on the floor seemed to avoid making so much as accidental eye contact with him. Everyone from police officers to civilians visiting loved ones gave Dr. Kane a wide berth that wasn't entirely born of fear or the look of murder he'd had when he'd arrived before he'd seen Brianna was alive with his own eyes.
