Evelyn, a photographer known for her haunting portraits, began noticing strange details in her photos: figures in the background who hadn’t been there when she took them.
She thought it was a trick of the light—until one day she photographed her reflection and saw someone else smiling back. The stranger looked just like her, but older, with hollow eyes.
The climax: Determined to uncover the truth, Evelyn developed the last photo she ever took. It showed her standing in a darkroom, camera raised, surrounded by shadowy hands reaching from the edges. When her assistant entered moments later, the studio was empty—and the camera clicked one final time.
