August 1st Phaedra sat in her room, feeling beat down. New clothes had replaced the old ones, and she rolled her tight shoulders, trying to relax. Making sure she was alone, Phaedra reached under her shirt and pulled out the Godstone. Every one that existed looked different. Each one had its own story, too. Looking at the crystal that enclosed a leaf with what looked like a caterpillar, she wondered what this one was for. They were supposed to birth gods—or so the rumors went—and it was hard to say just by looking at it. Orso wouldn’t have gifted it if he didn’t think it was important. Especially not by risking Eldren’s life like that.

Frail, they deemed her frail as a child. The surgeons skilled hands pulled the last few stitches. Mulling the thought over in her mind. Curiously she looked at the multiple scars across experiment 377 chest. Heart surgeries, lung issues, multiple broken bones due to a brittle bone condition, and now she lay on the table, infused with extra terrestrial life form, and the physically perfect human. Even as the other members of the team removed the intubation tube, iv's, and other accompanying instruments the sutures were visibly growing new skin. She had never gotten this far. She looked over the brown hair, blue eyes, and pale skin.
