11 Luxury MU Brands at Shoppers Drug Mart
Disclaimer I could be completely wrong (so whatever I say = grain of salt). But I do feel that a lot of Canadian makeup consumers do not know that Shoppers Drug Mart also carries quite a few luxury or high end makeup brands, which we see at Sephora. And I would urge people to pay attention to putting their money at Shoppers Drug Mart because the point system is (absolutely) so much better, hands down. And the rewards are endless, comparatively to what Sephora offers (which is kind of embarrassing for Sephora, but obviously they are not bothered). I also do think that Canadians supporting a Canadian business would be nice (unless it’s not Canadian, like Tim Hortons), but that’s just me. Also, you can buy both drugstore and high end makeup at one place, maximizing the reward system. Granted there are two cons with SDM.

5 Favorite Korean Snail Products
I am a huge fan of Korean Skincare products. They work well on my combination oily skin and often times contain unique ingredients. Snail secretion is one of those unique ingredients that is sometimes found in Korean Skincare items. No snails were harmed in the making of these items. The slime left behind by the snails is only used.

BoxyCharm Review. Top Story - August 2018.
Hello, my lovely people, I was thinking I could start doing a monthly review of my BoxyCharm. BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription for $21/month that comes as a box of four to five full size cosmetic products. The products range from brands such as Tarte, Becca, Dr. Brandt, etc. (mostly high end). The box is literally a steal. It gets no better than BoxyCharm in my opinion. I first started out with the Ipsy bag subscription, but I'd much rather get full size items. Since makeup is such a hobby of mine and I don’t have $100s to spend on makeup every month, $21 is doable for me. Especially when each box is valued at over $120 almost every time. I’ve received the box twice so far, and both times they were over $130. I couldn't be happier with this subscription. I would highly recommend any of you reading to check it out! :)

Favorite Lipstick Brands
I recently took a poll on Facebook and asked what everyone's favorite brand of lipstick was. There are many brands on the market and it can be hard to know which one to choose. As a lipstick lover myself, I found the poll helpful and it gives me an idea of what brands I should put on my "to try" list. I am always looking for a new favorite to discover.

11 New Palettes and My Tift with Them
I. Aphrodisiac by Urban Decay The term Aphrodisiac either comes from, is related to, or derived from the Greek goddess Aphrodite. When I think about Aphrodite (which I do a lot, being really into Greek mythology), I can’t help but think about Valentine’s Day, and the last thing that comes to mind when I think about February 14 is earthly ground shades. I think berry shades, from red to pink and everything in between. And the sad thing is that UD could’ve made this into an all workable soft berry palette rather than having just that one pop of magenta, and it would have worked. This is such a good looking palette on the outside, and is WTF on the inside.

The 30 Beauty Products I Can't Live Without
As the owner and creative director of a start-up cosmetics company, I know three things: what you put on your skin and in your hair is a big deal; all beauty products are NOT created equal; and, if you're able, spending the money on higher-quality products is almost always worth it.

11 MU Brands That Have The Best Designed Packaging
Disclaimer: I think that the reason eyeshadow palettes are the most popularly collected makeup product is because of the packaging. Nothing in the makeup market can draw your attention the way a pretty looking palette will, for most people, that is. Or that is what I think especially for those people who like collecting eyeshadow palettes. Granted, I could be wrong.

I Tried HUM’s Daily Cleanse Supplement & Here’s What Happened. Top Story - August 2018. Created with: HUM.
If there’s one thing I can honestly say, it’s that I do not exactly have a good diet. Ask anyone who knows me; it’s true. It’s one of those things that I’ve really been ashamed of and have slowly (very slowly) been working to correct.

Prism by Anastasia Beverly Hills
Disclaimer: I spend my dough, that gives me the right to have an opinion. If ABH pays your bills, by all means, leave. As we “intelligent” human beings know, understand, and (should) accept, it is impossible to like or dislike everything from a single brand (Subculture anyone?). A bad product does and will reflect on a brand. It is what it is. I am always a devil’s advocate because what may or may not work for me will work vice versa for someone else. So the gist is that this review is based on my experience, and skin type (medium-tan with pale undertone and oily skin).

I Used Organic Body Oil on My Hair and This Is What Happened. Top Story - July 2018.
There are a lot of things I have managed to tame over the years. I’ve managed to tame my wild style into something that looks visually appealing. I’ve been able to get my driving style to be a bit tamer than it used to be when I first started driving. I’ve even been able to tame my spending habits—for the most part.
