How to Clean Makeup Sponges
So while I was going through my daily scroll through Amazon this morning, I couldn't help but notice how many makeup removal products there are and how they are all targeted towards only makeup brushes. There were also only gel products meant for your face. I felt like makeup sponges were being heavily neglected, which is not great because sponges are the most likely home for gross bacteria compared to other makeup tools that are left unclean.

How to Properly Store Makeup Sponges
After writing my post about cleaning makeup sponges I learned just how important it is for proper storage as well. Not only does proper storage lengthen the life of your sponge and require you to buy replacements less, but it also saves you time by not needing to clean them as often! Besides, leaving our porous makeup tools out and about to be on their own probably isn't the most hygienic thing to do. In this post, I'll provide some tips for proper storage as well as some cute/handy products to add to your beauty shelf to help with storage!

Function of Failed
So, after figuring it was about time for a "treat yourself" day, I found an offer to try the Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner... Well, it wasn't hard to find after they had over ALL of the ads on my Instagram videos of girls who "genuinely tried this new shampoo, and could genuinely not recommend it enough because it was genuinely so great." (Safe to say it seemed like a genuine review—not.)

Swiss Clinic: Luxury Skincare at Home

However, Swiss Clinic has made it possible to have luxury skincare treatments at home within a reasonable price range. I've been trying out their products for a while now, and I can honestly say that they are worth every penny.

Beauty Product Roundup!
With September coming to a serious standstill ahead of us (not every place has pumpkin spiced everything and not every Dollar Store has their 1 million and 1 Halloween decorations up, so it is infact, a standstill), I conclude that the majority of my August faves are coming to an end. They basically left with August and for good reason. Here are my "empties" (product goodies that seem to be wearing T H I N):

Broke B Beauty
FACE (a.k.a. the hostest with the mostest). Makeup Remover| Klorane This facial makeup remover was recommended to be by my own mother whilst I was in a psych ward (ha... ha... follow my profile on here for updates on that, coming soon). It came to me in a time of NEED; metaphorical and physical: It was nice to be gifted a care package with something as awesome as THIS in it; and also—my skin desperately NEEDED it. I hadn’t put the work in on my face for the entire time I was there up until this part—I figured: If I FEEL crazy, I may as well let my skin grey away at the mere age of 25 and LOOK crazy as well.

Five Classic Makeup Palettes That Everyone Should Own
We all love impulse buying makeup, especially when it has a cult following, intense marketing, and incredibly enticing packaging. However, sometimes it can be better to withhold your money for those amazing products that you can really get your use out of. For this list, I will be including eyeshadow, blush, contour and highlight palettes I believe contain the best and most useable everyday shades.
