With close to 100,000 plays on Spotify alone, after 2 weeks since it's release, Comfort Club's new single 'Falling in Love' is not something one should ignore. The independant artist has been putting out amazing music since 2018, and has been slowly but surely rising in the indie underground music scene. Previous songs such as 'The Internet' and 'New Ways to Miss You' have gone above and beyond 100k plays and continue to rise as the artist continues to release new music. The latest single is no exeption to this factor. One can definetely say that Comfort Club's future is bright.

What is the “Perfect Woman” made of?
When you hear the words “perfect woman” what comes to mind for you? When I think of the concept of a perfect woman, I oftentimes find myself comparing my attributes to the concept and coming up short - a phenomenon I am certain is not isolated to just me. In music, I am immediately harkened back to the year 2000 and the O-Town tune “Liquid Dreams.” I know I am showing my age here, but boy bands were so important to the commercially popular music scene then; don’t judge. In the pop track, semi-grown men list off physical attributes of celebrities they wish they could puzzle piece together to make the perfect woman or “the star of my liquid dreams.” Now that I think about it, it’s more than a little ewwwwy and yet we sang along, believed they had a good idea with this, and even compared ourselves or compared women in our lives to the chopped up idea of what a perfect woman should be.

What can I say about Perfect Woman? Hmm let me see. Well first things first Perfect Woman with John Concepcion is a very special song. Before I get into explaining the writing and the creation process. I want to point out the marketing behind this song. Usually a-lot of thought goes into making the song, but I wanted to try something different and focus on the cover art. Most people usually use celebrities to describe a perfect woman. So I dug a-little deeper and realized most of the perfect women I’m describing are actually woman I already know or some how along the way. I’ve crossed paths with. What makes this interesting is because the person who designed the cover art is a woman, the person who mixed the song is a woman, the label im releasing the song under is owned by a woman and Ofcourse, the first person I ever let hear the song is a woman. I even had a woman proof read this write up for me. Pretty cool right? I think so. Its meaningful to me because I still feel woman dont get the credit they deserve in all aspects of life. Especially in the music industry, the fashion industry, or even the photography industry. So this is my way to show some respect and uplift those I admire through out the years.
