Seashell Sforzando
When I was growing up, most of the music that I listened to was country music because of my location and the type of family that I grew up in, and the song for country music that became popular in 2004 was Mr. Mom by Lonestar with this cute cartoon video of a Dad who realizes that the work a mother puts into raising her children. Back when we were first starting to introduce the concept of having a stay at home father.

Ensembles That Sailed Away
I walk into the music room while everyone is sitting and noodling around on their instruments ready to play. It is district honor band. A time where the best musicians in the area sit to play together for the weekend. Everyone in the room is such a great player that the music can be sight read well enough to be able to play an entire concert by Sunday. It is where after this weekend I will probably never see any of these people ever again, but it is a beautiful moment to come and play for the bit that we can combine all of our talents.

Dragon Jousting
Glimmer’s gold dragon scales shined in Princess Blissa’s face as she soared through the air in flight on her back. Only royalty could afford to have pet dragons, while the rest were for the knights as war dragons. Big red and gold regal dragons that matched the striking look of the knights. Gone were the days of horse jousting while dragon jousting was more brutal and deadly than ever. Sure the knights were belted to the dragons and there was a giant mat in the arena area to catch the falls, but not everyone ended up landing there when they fell. Glimmer soared over the jousting arena as the competitors were announced. She missed the exact introduction of the names because she was looking down to find the castle’s fool. He was entertaining the guests in rounds before the main event started up.
