The Opportunities all around us
Believe it or not, there are always opportunities all around us, right now somebody is getting fired, another person is postulating for a job, new businesses are getting started, companies are expanding their reach and looking for new employees and so much more. Whether you see these opportunities or not is really dependent on how hard you are looking, or if you are even looking at all. The economy is a moving machine, constantly renewing itself, taking in new energy and sending out old ones, looking for ways to optimize its processes.

How to make a person disciplined
Do you want your children to be more disciplined? Maybe they are all over the place, and you’ll just like for them to take more responsibility for their actions and get a lot more serious with what they are doing. There is a lot of value in discipline, and it's the foundation for every success we obtain, so by all means when you want to have success then you most be disciplined. We want success for all of our loved ones, so one way of achieving that is instilling into them as much discipline as we can, so that even if we aren’t there, we are sure they are going to be alright. Literally success is associated with discipline, that's the guaranteed way of achieving success, when you are disciplined, then success is just a matter of time. Of course, it still depends on how you apply that discipline, if you apply it to the wrong things then you can’t expect much but even the slightest thing you do with tremendous discipline then you can expect to be successful somewhere down the line.

Having no choice left
I’ll like to preface this by saying that I’ll talk about groups of persons who may turn out not to be you, and that's why I often use the words “some persons” or “most people”. I hope you don’t get offended by what I write, especially when you can’t relate. I can’t direct my article to only the people I am talking about, this article just goes out to the whole world in general. It's also very difficult and even impossible to write or even talk in a way that everyone would relate to, simply because we all live different lives, and we are in different environments and conditions. Nevertheless, there are always lessons we can take from every story to help ameliorate our own.

You are the problem
If you have a problem. And it’s like a really bad reoccurring horrific problem, and you tell me that there’s just absolutely no way to fix it. I would be skeptical, but I might be convinced to believe you. If however, you are standing in a room full of dozens maybe even hundreds of other people who have all addressed or maybe even solved this very same problem to varying degrees of success using a variety of different methods some not so great but even the most lackluster amongst them being worlds better than what you’ve got going on, and it becomes just abundantly clear that you are the only one with this problem, I’m going to be a lot less likely to believe you. When you say that there is no solution and especially if you dismiss every single proposed solution to the problem without trying it first, if you tell me that right after the problem occurred is a bad time to talk about the problem or if you can’t have an intelligent conversation about the problem without just making noises or unfounded assumptions, I’m going to be a lot less convinced that you have a problem and a lot more convinced that you are the problem.

5 years project
When I began working on projects, I always felt like the timeline for a project was determined by the different activities that have to take place during the project, I thought planning for the project will take x amount of time, developing the project will take x amount of time, and launching will take x amount of time, then I’ll just make the sum of all those durations and that will be the estimate of how long that project was going to take me. It's with this philosophy I worked on projects and I came to realize that this wasn’t very efficient, with this open strategy I let myself be lazy, I couldn’t keep to deadlines and I basically didn’t have any SMART objectives, I often ended up working on projects for a very long time to the point I got bored with the project and moved on to another.

Battling Emotions
When I was a lot younger, I usually looked up to the grown-ups and I wondered what kinds of problems they could possibly have. Especially the very confident people who seemed to have everything figured out, when you look at all the successful actors and actresses, musicians and business moguls or even just the local leaders in your community. Since they display so much confidence and wisdom in everything they do, I just wondered what could possibly be beyond them to deal with. At that young age I was dealing with problems of my own which felt so overwhelming, my parents who were constantly giving me a hard time with chores, my school work which was a lot of headache, my difficulties with socializing and many more things which bothered me. At that point I really wondered what could really bother these people whom I looked up to, they didn’t seem to have any problem speaking in front of large crowds, they were very intelligent, and they definitely didn’t lack the resources to do anything they wanted to. The objective for me was to become like them so that I won’t have any problems again, and maybe I too may ooze with so much confidence in what I do.

And the student surpassed the master
This is an amazing phrase which depicts a great scenario whereby a person learns from another and eventually becomes as good if not better than their teacher (master) which is actually an act to be proud of. Every teacher's hope is for their student (creation) to become a reflection of themselves and so when this student (or creation) becomes even better than they are, then it's just a subject of happiness and pride.

Hard work compels respect. Content Warning.
This should go without saying but it does fly over our heads sometimes. If I were to ask you about the people you respect the most, you would probably think of your parents or the wealthiest persons you know, not necessrily because of the wealth they have but rather because deep down you acknowledge all the hard work they put in to get to where they are. While on the other hand the people you respect the least would be persons who either inherited their wealth or who aren't wealthy at all. So is respect just a product of hardwork or is there more to it?

How to raise funds for your project
When you have a project, that wonderful idea in your mind you would like to see come to life, then there are a couple of things you need to do in order to raise the funds necessary to make this happen. Every project requires some form of investment be it; time, finances, intellect or even just patience. It’s easy to get disillusioned by how good our project is that we forget to follow the steps necessary to ensure that our project thrives and survives. Keep in mind that there are great ideas which have failed in the past over just simple mistakes, and not all the ideas out there which are working are the best. There are still people who use pen and paper for all of their transactions, despite the fact that we’ve had computers for decades.

I do have a hard time writing some of these articles because I try to share my thoughts and experiences about specific events from which I gained a life lesson but these lessons might as well be understood or applied differently depending on the circumstances and so my conclusions won't apply to everyone in the same way.
