Imagine Animals at Christmas
Camels Camels brought the wise men to the baby Jesus. The Three Wise Men or Magi traveled to Bethlehem on camels and these animals are included in Nativity scenes. There are three species of camel – dromedary with one hump, Bactrian and wild Bactrian both having two humps. They are members of the Camelidae family that also includes llamas and alpacas.

Amazing Birds of Central America
Bare-necked umbrella birds are unusual with awkward hairdos and bizarre courtship displays. The male birds have throat sacs on their chests that they inflate and resemble giant ripe tomatoes, making grunts, deep chuckles, and dry coughs to increase their appeal. Bare-necked umbrella birds live only in forests, and their diet consists mainly of fruits.

Away from the Crowds in Mississippi
The birthplace of Kermit the Frog is located in Leland. Nearby is Greenville, where the famous Muppet puppeteer Jim Henson was born in 1935. The small town of Leland has proclaimed itself the birthplace of the most famous Muppet created by Henson, Kermit the Frog, emerging from the swamplands in which Henson once played.

The Joy of Christmas Music
A Very Special Christmas is the first album in the series of Christmas-themed compilation albums to benefit the Special Olympics. The album was certified 4x Platinum. It includes songs like “Winter Wonderland” sung by the American synth-pop band the Eurythmics.

Amazing Birds of Mexico
Mexico has over 1,100 bird species that inhabit sandy deserts, rainforests, and mountainous regions. Black-throated magpie jays have long tails, spiky crests, and brilliant blue, black, and white plumage. Their popular birding spots are San Blas and the dry forests near Mazatlan. These birds inhabit thorn forests, open woodlands, riparian areas, and even ranchlands, where they have room to forage and explore. Black-throated magpie-jays are almost always noisy, flashing through trees with constant chattering and frequent aerial chases. Their omnivorous diet includes fruits, seeds, insects, small reptiles, eggs, and even chicks of other birds.

Amazing Artwork by Gustave Courbet
French artist Gustave Courbet became the leading Realism artist of the 19th century. After Dinner at Ormans is a painting created by the artist that depicts a common scene in his hometown. This painting shows men eating and drinking. One of the first major paintings by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Mother Anthony’s Tavern paid homage to this artwork in 1866.

Angels Watching Over Us
Some amazing and impressive statues of angels. The Angel with the Cross is located at Castel Sant’Angelo, a towering fortress in Rome, Italy. The angel stands on the Saint Angel Bridge. This statue has historical and religious significance and was originally built as part of a mausoleum for the Roman Emperor Hadrian. The angel is holding a cross representing the Lord’s protection and guidance for the city of Rome and its residents. The statue also symbolizes the Lord’s guidance and intervention in Roman affairs.
