Are Vocal staff overwhelmed and need help
My go to place for comfort and calm now feels like it is slowly slipping away from me. Am I losing the fight to stay sane and centered by turning to writing and reading to calm the extremely loud voices and noises that are now the norm of a very confused and scared world.

Love and lots of poison
Have you ever been trapped in one of those nightmares, you know. the one that's not going so well and you just want to wake up. There I was reading the, Mammoth book of the new chronicles of Sherlock Holmes, and fell asleep in the midst of, The adventure of the tomb on the hill. So now I dream of being The Woman. The woman in his life. But does he even see me. No. He goes off and falls for that beautiful bewitching harlot Irene Adler. How many years have I worked by his side, being his conscience, keeping him on the straight and narrow and always at his beck and call. He is so clueless, sometimes I want to throttle him myself, place my hands upon his neck and just squeeze.

Satire on a death train
"Nightmares". He yells, the dapper skeleton. "Nightmares, get your nightmares here. Get it before they are all gone, for living, in reality here, is death". He cackles at his own joke, toothless grin and sunken eyes searching for another lost soul to torment.

An embarrassment of pandas
I never considered what a group of pandas was called until I read an article by Liam Gravvat in USA Today. He very funnily said that it would appear to be a bit of an embarrassment! I mean, who is even considering panda bears or any type of bears with all the problems piling up one on top of the other around the world.

Thoughts in a thunderstorm
The storm The mighty thunderstorm rages, seething, Menacingly it watches me cower by my window, Rudely awakened from my slumber, peals of angry thunder rends the iridescent, dazzling sky, Eyes adjusting in blurred confusion, to the blinding dancing lights of nature's wrath, I watch in terror as mother nature roared~
