What can I say about the fabulous Alexandra. She blew into my consciousness like a warm and endearing burst of August sunshine. Her quiet smile belied her enthusiasm and kindness, sprinkling beautiful words of encouragement and causing ugly sniffling hollering when I read her comments.

I sat lost in thought, happily strumming away at my beginning to wear out keyboard keys, they have seen a lot of literary action these past few years. But let me not digress. I needed to find a perfectly fitting word for my article, having no intention of using AI to write anything.

The Hunter Warrior
Nyalla crouched low behind the large cluster of Mopane trees with their beautiful butterfly shaped leaves. Her eyes were glued to the grazing animal, cautiously awaiting her kill for the evening meal. The day was warm, but a slight breeze caressed the overhead limbs as they swayed delicately and soothingly, cooling her skin. Nearby, the Kigelia Africana, the comical looking Sausage tree, with its fruit closely resembling a sausage, swayed teasingly, inviting a juicy bite. Yet, she mused, this fruit is poisonous to humans, while animals can somehow devour it without harm.

A minute's interlude 😵
In a fragrant garden I lay, amidst perfumed garlands and an overflowing arrayed abundance of flowery dew kissed blossoms. Blooms of all colors beckoned, importuning me to stop and inhale their lovely fragrances. Yet, how could I choose, when in all of their wonderous beauty, I longed to be lost.
