Horizon stretched wide, Lying line does not divide, But brings us closer.

Sunrise spills gold light, First breath of a waking world, Whispering “begin”
Sunlight through bare trees, Small green buds wait patiently, Knowing Spring will come.
Twilight paints the sky With colors that never last, Just more borrowed light.
Morning rain rolls in, Quiet as my Father’s hands Packing before dawn.
Finger flicks away The rogue: lash upon your cheek, Setting wishes free
A lone red balloon Flying far above small hands, Lost, yet somehow found
Stars fall, the night speaks. Wishes shed like autumn leaves. Grounded dreams take flight
They’ve all gone to seed. Death to the dandelion Is Life to your dreams
Bullets rip blue sky, Clouds torn asunder - thunder, See the sea of red —————————— •
Branch kisses the sky, Bough bows to the clouds’ caress Above, but rooted.
Kite string held in hand, Slips through fingers, laughter fades: Innocence unmoored.
