They "Cooked" This Inmate to Death in a Scalding Hot Shower. Content Warning.
Darren Rainey's skin melted from his body by the time guards at Dade Correctional Institution opened the shower door. He was dead, two hours after guards locked him inside the shower where water temperatures reached a scalding 160 degrees F. He suffered second and third-degree burns to 30% of his body, yet officials ruled his death “accidental.”

Do children deserve life sentences if they kill another person? The U.S.A. is the only country in the world with life imprisonment for murder offenders under the age of 18., although in 2012, the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional to sentence a juvenile to life without parole possibility. Around 2,500 inmates serving life in U.S. prisons committed crimes as juveniles and another 10,000 have been incarcerated since before their 18th birthdays.

The Real Iron Man: 15-Year-Old Uses Body to Shield 20 Students From Gunfire. Content Warning.
Anthony Borges saw Nikolas Cruz armed with an AR-15 as he walked up the stairwell to the third floor of Building 12 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Borges and other students on the third floor heard the chaos and gunfire underneath them. Students weren't sure exactly what was going on but knew danger lurked about. They attempted to hide inside of classrooms.
