icy siren song, aquamarine promises, lullaby of death.

plaster red over blue; frosty lips, now shielded from transparency.
her private omen of good to come; still, she is jealous of its wings.
possibility and melancholy, both held in equal measure.
saltwater cobalt kisses the sandy shoreline, soon to devour all.
blue, when twined with red- for some, freedom’s hues; others- painful oppression.
sapphire pools of light, submerge my soul in your depths. love-drowning, embraced.
smooth, faded denim yields to your seeking fingers; barrier, removed.
laughing in corners, ghosts and shadows flit about, mocking memories.
flashing lights follow garish, in pursuit of me; what have I done now?
subtle differences one turquoise, one cornflower, you saw 'cause you looked.
cunning little stream, tranquil turquoise canopy, hides hungry kelpies.
