Depression adores me. For years we have had a love-and-hate relationship. I refused to take medications because the side effects were dangerous. They fix one problem and create several more. Amazingly, I write some of my best stories under duress. Maybe I give depression a reason to stay nearby because it never leaves. I swear, I can feel its presence no matter how happy I am.

A Woman Or A Mother For President?
I am a mother. I am a woman too. Is there a difference between me and a female without children? I aim to protect my children at all costs. I love all children and will fight for all of them. But life has weird ways of putting mothers in situations where we must choose our child/children. Right or wrong, good or bad most mothers will choose to protect their children. I and others will put our lives at risk for them.
