2024 Goals & Affirmations
I’ve never been one to make New Year’s Goals, aspirations, or affirmations. I’ve never been the superstitious type to believe in the luck of the New Year. I’ve learned over time that things come to us as and when they are meant to appear. And I’ll learn that it’s okay to believe in a little luck as well.

Love and War
War is coming. Slowly, methodically, traveling like a fog across the land. There was no meaning for the chaos, no mercy to be shown. Men had gone off to fight, and many had not returned home. The war had finally reached her doorstep and she feared for her life.

Darkness snarled, “We must have blood.” Abigail quivered. Her mind was a battleground of emotions. Had the doctor’s diagnosed it wrong? Was she finally cracking beneath the strain of the being bipolar? The voices, the voices were so strong. She simply didn’t know how to tune them out.

From my characters in my book: The Book of Marie. A threat was a threat, but with Marie when she added a weapon, you could almost bet your ass was in major trouble. Jonas stood before her, watching, and observing every little detail, she might betray.
