Resolutions...Ready, set...Keep
Here we go again!

Yeah, right! A fantastic idea! How hard will it be to invent some creative and unique New Year's resolutions to consider for 2025...
Every year we make them, and every year we break them. But should we give up on ourselves.
Heck No, to the no, no ,no...Thanks Tiffany, I pillaged your fave quote!!!!
SO HERE GOES...
Read more Vocal stories.
Oh Lord...I sure shall try.
Learn a New Skill Every Month: From cooking a new cuisine to mastering a musical instrument, dedicate each month to learning something new.
Yeah...I sure will!
Disconnect to Reconnect: Set aside time each week to disconnect from digital devices and spend quality time with loved ones or engage in offline hobbies.
But...the devices are loud and keep hollering at me to pay them their addictive attention. Still, I will try, they are so demanding.
Volunteer Regularly: Choose a cause you're passionate about and volunteer your time and skills to make a positive impact in your community.
Does feeding the birds count.
Explore Your Local Area: Make it a goal to discover hidden gems in your town or city, from parks and trails to cafes and museums.
Check and check. It is my hobby. One of...
Start a Passion Project: Dedicate time to a personal project that excites you, whether it's writing a book, starting a blog, or creating art.
Started...procrastinating much though.
Practice Gratitude: Keep a daily gratitude journal to reflect on the things you're thankful for and cultivate a positive mindset.
I positively need this one right now.
Read a Book a Month: Broaden your horizons by reading a diverse range of books, from different genres to authors from various cultures.
I have been quite lax in this endeavor, So, well met! Time to step up my reading game again.
Prioritize Mental Health: Incorporate mindfulness practices, such as meditation or yoga, into your routine to support your mental well-being.
So needed...the mind tends to wander and become un-mindful and tardy.
Plant a Garden: Whether it's a small herb garden on your windowsill or a full vegetable garden in your backyard, gardening can be a rewarding and therapeutic activity.
Checked and done. A top up is due comes summer. Another fulfilling hobby with my green thumb.
Document Your Journey: Start a journal, blog, or vlog to document your experiences, achievements, and personal growth throughout the year.
Exploring said idea as we speak, er...write.
These resolutions can help you grow, connect, and make 2025 a memorable year. Do any of mine resonate with yours, or do you have your own unique ideas in mind?
Do resolutions work out, should we stop making them
New Year's resolutions can indeed work out, but their success often depends on how they're approached. What are some of the reasons why resolutions sometimes fail and how do we make them more effective:
Setting overly ambitious goals can lead to disappointment and unrealistic goals. Instead, make sure your resolutions are realistic and achievable.
Lack of Planning or not having a clear plan, makes it easy to lose sight of our goals. Maybe we should break our resolutions down into smaller, more manageable steps and create a roadmap to follow.
Loss of Motivation:
It's common to feel motivated at the start of the year, but maintaining that motivation can be challenging. Find ways to stay inspired, such as tracking your progress, celebrating small victories, and seeking support from friends or family.
Too Many Resolutions:
Trying to tackle too many goals at once can be overwhelming. Focus on a few key resolutions that are most important to you.
Negative Mindset:
Viewing resolutions as a chore can make them feel burdensome. Instead, frame your goals positively and focus on the benefits and joys of achieving them.
While some people might feel disheartened by past failures, others find that setting resolutions provides a sense of purpose and direction. The key is to tailor your approach to what works best for you.
Instead of stopping resolutions altogether, consider making adjustments to how you set and pursue them. This way, you can increase your chances of success and enjoy the journey of personal growth.
What are your specific resolutions which comes to mind for 2025 that you're excited about?

Whatever your resolution, have fun tackling the promises made to yourself.
Happy new year everyone!!! 🥂🍷🍸🍾🍹

I loved this! Great ideas...and prioritizing mental health is the best.
lol, ‘does feeding the birds count.’ It counts in my eyes, I love birds 😍 ‘Explore Your Local Area’ my husband and I like to do this, especially residential - neighbourhood areas. I am with you with the book a month thing, I feel like the more I read, the easier writing gets… or maybe, well… it helps a lot. Though, I want to get through a lot of books this year not sure of the number yet… I’m reading more than one at the moment. Something I was scared to do before. It’s amazing that you’ve got the green thumb, I think mines a little…blue if I do say so myself lol. ‘Smaller more manageable’ are words I like to hear 👌🏽 Not treating these resolution like a chore, that’s a great point. 👏🏽🙏🏽 Happy new year Antoni. I loved this piece, the tone was fun, the writing engaging and relatable. And I’ve learnt a lot about you, so I feel even more at home on your page 🤗♥️
Wow, You've got a fantastic mix of goals that cover personal growth, mindfulness, and community engagement. May this new year bring you joy, success, and plenty of wonderful experiences.
Lol at you Northern-rizing my H-e-l-l naw naw naw phrase! Have you seen the pastor that sings the song by that name? Check him out on YouTube! He is the truth! Lol Awesome suggestions Antoni! I like the explore your local area suggestion the most! I'd like to explore the local hot springs in my area in the new year. It is supposed 2 remove body pain. Thx 4 sharing this piece! It was lively & inspiring! 💕
Great collection of resolutions here that we can all try to do.
Some good advice here, we all should have new goals for every time of beginnings. Blessings to new goals.
