A Love in Red
Once upon a time in a small town, there was a girl named Marie. Marie had a special love for the color red. She felt it was bright, warm, and happy. To her, red was more than just a color; it was a feeling.
Every morning, Marie would wake up and pull back her red curtains. The sun would shine through, casting a red glow in her room. She would smile and think, “Today will be beautiful.” She loved to wear her red dress, a gift from her grandmother. The dress danced with her as she walked, like petals in the wind.
Marie also loved red flowers. In her garden, she had red roses, bright red tulips, and small red poppies. She would spend hours tending to them, watering and talking to each one. “You are lovely,” she would say. The flowers seemed to smile back, their petals waving in the gentle breeze.
One day, while Marie was picking flowers for a bouquet, she saw a boy named Phil. He had come to the garden to see the flowers. Phil was new to the town, and his eyes shone like the sky. He wore a soft blue shirt, but Marie noticed he had a red cap. “I love red too!” she said, waving her arms full of flowers.
Phil laughed, “Really? Red is a great color! It reminds me of fun and joy.” They started talking about their favorite things. Marie shared her love of red, and Phil shared stories of his adventures. They both felt a spark, as bright as a firework in the night sky.
From that day, they met often. Together, they would explore the town. They found a little café with red chairs and red tables. They sipped on red cherry soda, laughing and sharing stories. Marie felt her heart grow warm every time Phil smiled.
As seasons changed, so did their friendship. The summer sun turned to autumn leaves. The air became cool, and red leaves fell from the trees. Marie and Phil walked in the park, crunching leaves under their feet. “Look at the colors,” Marie said, pointing to the trees. “Red is everywhere!”
Days turned into weeks, and Marie realized she loved Phil more than just a friend. Her heart raced when she saw him; it was a feeling as bright as her favorite color. One chilly evening, as the sun set in a blaze of red, Marie decided to tell Phil. They sat on a bench under the large, red oak tree.
“Phil,” she began nervously, “I need to say something.” He turned to her with curious eyes. “I think… I think I love you,” she whispered, her heart pounding. The world around them felt still, as if waiting for his reply.
Phil smiled warmly and took her hands in his. “I love you too, Marie. Your love for red shines in everything you do.” At that moment, the sky turned a beautiful shade of red, as if celebrating their love.
Marie knew that her love for red had brought her to Phil. With every sunrise and sunset, she felt grateful for the color that started it all. Their hearts intertwined like the vines in her garden, forever blooming in shades of red.
Together, they created a beautiful story filled with laughter, dreams, and a love that glowed as brightly as the color red in their hearts
