Coloring my Tarot
One card at a time

I began with number zero, The Fool and followed the guide card. It was my first time using good colored pencils. Not bad for a novice.

Next, I took on The Star. I liked the card and think I did a better job than on my first go round. I think I like mine better.

Queen of Wands was next. I deviated from the guide card, didn’t even look at it until I was done.

Then I moved on to Justice. Really proud of my relief work with the red and gold on this one. Getting better with the pencils.

I haven’t filled in her cup yet, but the Queen of Cups is the one I colored next. My husband chose it, so after I finished it, I moved on to the next queen.

I like the Queen of Swords—sounds the most vicious, looks the most ethereal. If the suits were Hogwarts houses, she’d be Ravenclaw.

Currently working on the Queen of Pentacles. This is a threefold project—I’m quitting smoking, something to do with my hands with immediate, visible results.I’m also writing a story with a character who’s learning the tarot, and I figure I can make some coin doing readings if I learn the cards well enough.
Thank you for reading! I’m currently working on several of the challenges—planning and scheming. Wish me luck quitting smoking!

Ugh, I need to quit. So badly. I’d say I’m going to take on the challenge as well, but I’m about 75% sure I’m not ready for that just yet. Best of luck to you, although I doubt you’ll need it. I get “strong, determined, thrives under pressure, doubt is just motivation” vibes from you. Also, try alcohol markers. They’re great.
About the smoking . . .
Your colouring is excellent, and I love the art of tarot cards. I have written many Tarot-related pieces, inspired by Tarot rather than about it, and most have pics of my decks, https://todaysurvey.life/explore?f=posts&s=mikeydred+tarot&x=%2Fauthors%2F%5BauthorSlug%5D&y</span></span></span></a>=</p></div></div></div><div class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
