A Room of my Own

Cheers, Virginia Woolf šŸ„‚

My room

Four different people have lived in this room since we bought the house, none of which ended well. No good deed goes unpunished for long. I decided after the last round that it was the last round. I no longer have an extra room; I have a writing room.

Virginia Woolf said I should, said it’s a necessity for a woman who writes. That’s me. I have finally claimed this space (that I pay for) as my own, and, as Mr. T would say, I pity the fool who tries to take it from me.

Where the magic happens

It’s also where my husband patiently teaches me how to play chess better.

I'm a weirdo nerd who’s extremely subversive. I like rocks, incense, and witchy stuff. Intrusive rhyme bothers me. Some of my fiction might have provoked divorce proceedings in another state.😈

  • I made one in my huse and it was taken over by my partner's seedlings and grow light. My writing/creative space is in a little cottagethat is uninsulated in the winter. I envy the peaceful place you've claimed. New to your writing and just subscribed.
