Yellow

Celia snap thing

Talentless tales.

Shallow mediocrity

Neon. Bored to death.

-

Your yellow facade.

Jaundice of patriarchy

Thinking you're not one.

-

Of them.

-

You're the soul ally.

But you're the epitome.

Of your privilege.

-

Sorry we're not titillating

Enough.

For you.

Or not

I can feel the anger and bitterness radiating off of this. It’s interesting how you tie the color yellow—the color of cowardice—to false progress and alliance. Well done.

“Neon. bored to death” is such an amazing line Amazing poem, all around. Captures the discomfort and frustration of false progress
