Where the Mind Unknots

A gentle walk for the restless mind.

If you are a little anxious,

And your insides are a-twist,

A stroll in a spring meadow

May help you keep your wits.

Meander in golden sunlight,

Or drift beneath the moon,

Mosey through a flower field,

Admiring every bloom.

A saunter by a bubbling creek,

The trail that twists and sways,

A lighter heart and quieter head

With every wandering way.

Let moss and birdsong teach you

How to breathe again, unbound,

As steady steps and open skies

Slowly soften what you’ve found.

When the world feels overwhelming

And the thoughts invade your head,

Immerse yourself in nature,

And relieve yourself of dread.
