When Your Eyes Spoke First
A poem about the quiet language of love that needs no words.
By The 9x FawdiPublished 3 months ago • 1 min read

Before your voice ever reached my name
your eyes had already spoken.
A spark leapt across the air
and everything around us softened.
The world slowed its restless spin
as if waiting for us to breathe together.
I forgot the noise of ordinary days
and learned the rhythm of your silence.
You smiled, and time folded itself
into a secret place between heartbeats.
Every glance became a promise
too delicate for sound to hold.
Even now, when distance hums
like rain against forgotten windows,
I can still hear what your eyes said first
and it feels like coming home.
