Where are you?
The sky is pitch black, with nothing to track.
I tear my eyes open, but my mouth is unspoken.
Can not whisper or scream, perhaps it’s just a dream?
When did we?
Lost in despair, with both in the void.
There is no air, and worlds are destroyed.
A blank wall to stare at, with caverns to repair.
Everything is dead, nothingness ahead.
How?
How did we end up in the deepest blackened hollow,
where light dares not tread.
The shadow dragging deep down the lane,
No sun or rain, just dread.
Emotionless, uncovered in an abyss shallow.
What?
What about us? Did we fall into a perilous sinkhole?
Love is about trust, not a pit to sell the soul.
Now what?
Silent, rooted in the middle of nowhere…
Breathless, numb, and paralyzed.
Chased by pitch-black shadows, everywhere…
No words, unresponsive… hypnotized…

This poem is a powerfully evocative depiction of despair and isolation, incredibly haunting. "The sky is pitch black, with nothing to track. I tear my eyes open, but my mouth is unspoken." -- This creates a chilling sense of disorientation. The progression of questions—Where, When, How, What, Now What—effectively builds the feeling of helplessness and dread. 🌞🩶🤎
This poem is hauntingly beautiful, painting a vivid picture of despair and loss with every line. The questions—Where? When? How? What?—echo like cries in the void, pulling the reader into the abyss alongside the narrator. The imagery is stark yet poetic, weaving a sense of love lost in darkness. A raw and powerful reflection on trust, loss, and the emptiness that follows.✨
