Warblenaunts

Warblenaunts warble incessantly,

in a restaurant nibbling on croissants and gossip aplenty.

They feed on false fame and the latest gizmo toy,

that happens to be a glow in the dark toilet seat that sings "Danny Boy."

They get up and wobble around,

with their triple chins and triple insincere compliments.

I long to fly alongside the sincere wings of warble birds outside,

instead of suffering inside here, with stomach in knots, in the midst of these nonsensical warblenaunts!

I feel like I’ve been stuck at this exact table before 🥐

I remember those toilet seats. They change to "Fanny Boy" when you sit down ... and then the percussion 👀 "They feed on false fame" love that line 😊😇
