Wake Up.

It’s not a warning bell when it’s already here.

By CJ RainesPublished 7 months ago 1 min read
The Ivanhorod Einsatzgruppen photograph, 1942. A Nazi soldier preparing to execute a Jewish woman shielding a child in Ukraine. It has become one of the most recognized visual documents of the Holocaust. Used here to draw urgent historical parallels to the silence, brutality, and state-sanctioned violence occurring today.

Can you hear it?

Do you feel it?

Something is coming.

No one is listening.

No one is watching.

WAKE UP!

People are missing.

Lives are taken.

Children are crying.

Where are the children?

How is this being allowed?

Help!

Someone, please- help them!

Who do you call?

These people need help.

Who is going to stop them?

Congress?

Governors?

Senate?

State?

This has happened before.

They aren’t stopping.

It’s getting worse.

More people disappearing.

More lives being taken.

Churches flooded with people praying.

Your prayers are appreciated.

But they aren’t going to stop this.

Get up.

Get out.

They need you.
