Nothing returns whole.
💔🤲🩹⚠️
Trust.
Given freely.
Given without thought.
Given with safety.
Trust.
💔🤲🩹⚠️
Trust.
Holding someone with care.
Holding someone securely.
Holding someone so they will not -
Fall.
Trust.
💔🤲🩹⚠️
Trust.
Guarding the heart with care.
Guarding the soul with knowledge
Guarding the person with -
Failure
To hold.
💔🤲🩹⚠️
Trust.
The heart that does not reform.
The soul that stays -
Incom-
Plete.
The mind that becomes-
Weary.
Mistrust.
💔🤲🩹⚠️
Trust.
Rebuilt with care.
Rebuilt with shattered pieces.
Rebuilt with scars -
Not-
Whole.
💔🤲🩹⚠️

This poem is written beautifully. I always tell people that respect is automatically given, but trust is earned because it is so hard to obtain and keep depend, depending on the person. Once the trust is broken, everything changes.
This is soooo true! Loved your poem!
Beautifully written. The fragmentation mirrors the message perfectly.
