Treasured
Boxes Of Memories
By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 12 months ago • Updated 12 months ago • 1 min read

If I could contain what Ive lost,
in a box
I wonder what things I might find
Moments and memories I’ve all but forgot
From the years that have been left behind
If I could recapture those things that I loved
Go back and relive one more time
I would treasure each one and never let go
If I’d known, one day, they’d no longer be mine
Precious the photo frozen in a frame
Holding memories that time steals away
Maintaining a reason to try love again
Reminding me to cherish each day
