The crowd inside Haiku
Over crowded help
The weights too much Iβm broken
Silent screams kill me

THE CROWD INSIDE HER
There is a scream carved into her profile,
a raw edge where fury once lived,
and behind it a thousand faces gather,
layered grief upon grief,
each one carrying a memory,
each one refusing to disappear.
She kneels on a floor of fractures,
white cloth pooling around her like surrender,
head bowed beneath the storm within,
hands pressed tight against her thoughts,
as if she could contain the riot,
as if silence could tame the noise.
But the faces press forward,
eyes heavy with accusation,
mouths half open with unfinished cries,
shards of selves that never healed,
crowding her skull with history,
demanding to be named.
Do you think madness arrives without reason,
that anguish blooms from nothing,
that sorrow does not multiply in darkness,
feeding on secrets and swallowed pain,
until the mind becomes a battlefield,
and every memory draws blood?
She is not weak for trembling,
not broken for bending low,
she is a cathedral of survival,
walls cracked yet still standing,
holding within her trembling body,
more endurance than most could bear.
And when she finally lifts her face,
when the scream turns into breath,
when the crowd inside her falls quiet,
it will not be because they vanished,
but because she learned to stand among them,
and claim every fractured piece as her own.

We must all learn to learn and hopefully accept what we learn about ourselves through our actions no matter what they happen to be. Good job.
This is very dramatic, Marie!
