The Chaotic Mind
Random thoughts put into poem form
I swear I remember this
that and the other thing that flew past my vision
blurring past the system, confused
and on a mission in crowds unlocking wisdom
of life, but it’s seldom
clear.
-
Jumbling and humbling
ideas are just crumbling through cracks
or are they seeping through?
like goo from a monster’s maw
clutching at straws to draw
ferocious natures and gnaw
at life with eyes in awe.
-
Surprised at the outcome
like a song’s humdrum
after starting amazing and then some,
or a tv’s static screen that led some
to pull their hair out, broken and glum
-
cheer up and show the world a smile
if they give an inch then take a mile
of happiness that is.
Serenity and bliss.

Author's note: I wanted to write a poem within 15 minutes while i was taking a short break from work, so I just started with a random thought, aiming only to rhyme the lines. Then decided to inspire the first line of each stanza with the last line of the previous one. A bit of a chaotic poem.

wow, love the vibe of this poem!💕
Keep the chaos flowing 😁😁😁 This felt really authentic and it made it such an enjoyable read. The rhyming and wording in the second stanza particularly drew me, as did ending on such a brilliantly positive note. Well done 👏
