"Stay quiet," he says with a hand in my hair.

"I won't hurt you that bad," as I'm gasping for air.

"Listen for once," says the fork-tongued snake,

"End it with me?" as I feel bones break.

"No, you're mine," as I pull away.

"Can't you see, you can only stay."

Ending it with you was never a mistake.
