You and I are the same

We loved fiercely

To our detriment

Then got betrayed

I turn to look at you

The light yet to turn green

Your body language screams

I'm self soothing

And taking care of me

I want to ask you to hold my hand

Yet I dont want to take you away

From the healing and the processing

You need

Your voice breaks through the silence:

"Patience is a virtue."

That's what you truly need: a love that is both patient and kind

I hope you find that in me 💜
