Stained Palms

A poem

By TestPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Many of us drowned in our

Brains and opened the

Flood gates with shotguns.

{

How does being so depressed

Make such animated silhouettes?

Maybe it’s just death waiting

To know what it’s like to have breath.

It could be something that

Found a vessel to travel here

To make itself known.

{

I’m expected to build out

Of madness and have

Blue prints every time.

The sad bottom line, however,

Is there’s no answer to life.

If you can’t stand your world

I invite you into mine.

I might teach you how to

Make your own in time.

{

That will help you save

Yourself but remember

Roads lead two ways

And you’ll go up or down.

{

Remember literature is

A dirty game in any town

And it’s our job to keep

Blood on the walls and

Off our hands…

{

Only if you do it right there’s

No avoiding either.
