Loaded all of my wheels

Spun on top of them fields

Some for rolling down hills

Some on windowless sills

Rain is sounding like guns

Lake and riverbed runs

Some are breaking my back

Mud is porcelain glass

And I can see the sun

Shine on everyone

Just another to ford

But I will never see

What amazes me

Snow in Idaho, lord

Hurt my mother today

She won’t cry if I stay

I came back with the reigns

In my hands

My Pa riding away

He said, “Give it three days.”

But I’ve been watching for days

And I can see the sun

Shine on everyone

Just another to ford

But I will never see

What amazes me

Snow in Idaho, lord

Wait

In the valley

And you won’t have to wait

Stay

Like sparrows on a breeze

You can blink

And still hear those wings

Now I’m falling asleep

Sun on top of my heap

When my eyes are rainbows

Filled with Idaho snow

Filled with Idaho snow

Filled with Idaho snow

Snow in Idaho, lord
