Attention everyone!

Go to bed early!

Feeling exhausted all day?

Go to bed!

Seeing hallucinations?

How are you reading this?

You are literally dying,

Go to bed now!

Are you getting unreasonably irritated,

By others' normal quirks,

And your friends' little mistakes?

Your brain is too tired to tolerate anything,

Go to bed earlier,

And you will be more patient!

Is anxiety driving you insane?

Your brain is too exhausted to rationalize,

Go to bed on time,

And you will be calmer!

Do you have too much to do?

Too bad,

Go to bed!

How can you expect to do your work sufficiently,

If you refuse to give your brain and body a break!

Go to bed early!

I love how you turned something as simple as sleep into a powerful public announcement. It captures the frustration of exhaustion perfectly while still feeling relatable. The rhythm of the lines keeps the reader engaged.

  • Good take on the challenge… excellent advice. I need to take it myself!😵‍💫

Yes! Often when I have too many things to do and I don't know where to start, or I'm just generally overwhelmed, my solution is to take a nap instead. Arguably not the most productive solution, but one that keeps me sane 😄

  • I love sleep, and my go to solution for most things is to go to sleep, lol. Loved this!

We all know we need more sleep. So many things happening, people don’t want to miss out; or the brain won’t shut up. 😬🤣💕

  • Hi Rebecca, that is great advice. Sleep is so important to our overall physical and emotional well-being. Much more than most people actually realize. Of course everybody has different life situations. For me getting a good nights sleep is very tough being a 24/7 Caregiver. My job does not have a start of the day or an end of the day - it’s continuous. So I do my best in getting whatever sleep I can get. I do look forward to the day when I will be able to go to sleep at 9 o’clock every night and wake up at six in the morning every morning. That will be wonderful but until then I do the best that I can do.
