Only fist make everyone listen in fear

Shouting in Silence
He burns without flame,
a storm inside his skin,
too proud to cry,
too lost to speak.
The walls are his witnesses,
they echo his fists,
his music drowns the ache,
but not the meaning.
Adults talk in riddles,
their care feels distant,
like voices through water,
blurred and slow.
He wants to scream peace,
but his mouth forgets how,
so he throws his rage
at anything that listens.
Tomorrow he’ll say sorry,
though no one will ask,
he only wanted someone
to understand the noise.
