You continually put things off
Saying you’ll do them
Later
Tomorrow
Procrastinating
Your goals
Your dreams
With full meaning
To one day
Face
Endure
Complete
Each one in its own time
Hoping in your heart
That today is the day you
Attempt
Brazen
Succeed
With every intention of crossing
Things from your Bucket List
Now
Soon
Before
It’s too late
And you can’t move anymore
Well TODAY is the day
Seize it by the horns
Grab hold
And
Don’t let go
Run that race
Climb that mountain
Live your dream
Don’t put it off any longer
It’s time to live to the fullest
Jump that hurdle
Take the course
This is your sign
Take it now
If ever you needed further proof
That the time was now
Then this is it
Carpe Diem
Start that book

I am not too bad at doing things. It's important we get things done for own good..
🌼Reading this several hours into my day was a revelation; it is easily the most uplifting piece I have encountered. The opening felt like a firm tug on the sleeve, much like a conversation between friends who know each other's habits far too well. The enjambment in the list "Later / Tomorrow / Procrastinating" perfectly captures that uncomfortable, stagnant feeling of being stuck in the mud.
This morning, I felt empty, unable to do things, though I knew I needed to. Somehow, I pulled myself together and wrote a poem. Great words
