Iโd be extremely surprised
If Tomorrow starts without me!
Iโm up bustling about before the birds and sun rise
My puppy eagerly awaits his predawn snack
And a jaunty trot โround his territory out back.
Ohโฆ wait! I see!
Tomorrow starts a tick past each somnolent midnight hourโฆ
Sometimes I snatch a fleeting glimpse of its stealthy arrival
But mostly, Iโm snugly tucked up in my dream laden tower.
With sleep and slumber, I dare not trifle
Time spent with them keeps Tomorrow carefree
So, I wonโt worry
If Tomorrow starts without meโฆ
Time spent sailing on silvery moonbeams
Is worth greeting the day in a flurryโฆ
Whenever, I greet Tomorrow is just fine by me!
