Wet Kiss (A Sonnet)

Perhaps any kiss would suffice that day.

I will never be convinced that is true.

My excitement was a dead giveaway.

His skin glistened and gleamed a greyish blue.

Slowly moving toward our predestined fate.

My heart beat so fast, I feared it might stop.

Death is banished until we consummate.

His bald head spewed out an odd waterdrop.

Millimeters separate our moist kiss.

Magical sparks lit up as our lips met.

No other kiss ever brought me such bliss.

My lips seemed dry, but the dolphin’s were wet.

The crowd cheered as the deed was quickly done.

I kissed a dolphin and the planet won.
