Red

Dangerous yet tempting me

Red

The colour of my heart

The colour of my blood

Could this love be a bloody affair

Messy

Between a breath and a sigh

Wrapping me into its arms

Enfolding me into its depths

Choking me

Pumping through me

Erratic

Then ecstasy

Pleasurable yet deadly

The end result

I like all this, from the title to the subtitle, to the cover photo, to your flowing words. I like it also that you left the ending somewhat ambiguous. I'm Bill a.k.a. Bolt I have subscribed to you. ⚡💙⚡

Absolutely beautiful and red is the color of blood and the color we equate with love.

  • And that's why red is the colour of love. Beautiful poem!
