Pendulum
I walk on a razor's edge cherishing those sweet memories together and hating the pain that comes with them

The world is cruel, but at least it offers reasons for its actions
Somewhere down the line, we will find a pattern,
and in it, an answer to our most burning questions
I walk on a razor's edge
cherishing those sweet memories together
and hating the pain that comes with them
Like a pendulum swinging back and forth
The mind of a madman given the choice
of losing you and loving himself
Is that why you left me?
Friendships fade, and though those memories linger,
when all is said and done, I have found
friends who value me for who I am
And that is all that matters.
