Not normal people problems

caring

By Neil MarathePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Comfort

Comfort is not knowing that I have passed my exam.

It is knowing that Primark has just refused a deal with cruel sweatshops

Comfort is not knowing that my parents aren’t getting divorced

It is knowing that Tibet might one day be a free country

Comfort is not knowing that that my grandmother is at deaths door

It is knowing that another Northern white rhino has been discovered.

Comfort is not knowing that my friend didn’t give out of cancer

It is knowing that millions of people are being lifted out of extreme poverty

Comfort is not knowing that my uncle was saved from bankruptcy

It is knowing that vegan diets are vastly becoming more popular

Comfort is not knowing that I came first in the sports day race

It is knowing that uncontacted tribes are independent from society.

Comfort is not knowing that the most attractive girl like likes me

It is knowing that abortion is once again freely available.

Comfort is not knowing that my sports team won

It is knowing that the ocean is free of plastic

Comfort is not knowing that my nobody think that I’m popular

It is knowing that I have liberty of societies’ ills.

Comfort is not knowing that I am told I care too much about the world

It is also knowing that others won’t do it for me.
