Mercy

Them that show themselves merciful, mercy they shall get.

A joyful heart lightens the load, leaving little to regret.

But them that judge will be judged, with the same standards we use.

Standards on what’s fair, and who or what we can we abuse.

You put good in, you get good out, a fairly simple rule.

What you see within is what you’ll see without, and maybe everyone’s a fool.

Harden your heart, no it won’t save you.

Hide yourself from the world, something still enslaves you.

Freedom isn’t free, and costly indeed is the giving of mercy.
