Meditative poem 2

Note: read this short meditative poem and feel the glow of the early autumn sun anytime you need a moment of connection to the light that resides within you.

Gone are the days of summer's fire when

I can start to feel the autumn's cooler breath

wrapping her gentle fingers around the back of my neck;

I know a caress like this...the sun's soft kiss on my upturned face.

This human smile emanates all the way from belly to the crown

in this tranquil, changing, vibrant space of Autumn arriving

gracefully... allowing time to witness leaves of crimson and

gold unfold... Each night grows cooler and I long for the sunlight's warm

embrace... a soothing balm, a cherished dream to warm our hearts in this

cozy place as Mother Nature dons its autumn face.

The days grow shorter and the nights draw near

but the sun's memory we will hold dear. Its glow in our souls left a

warming trace. And so we cherish each ray and each fleeting beam

in this season of change (knowing its true Light Source

is within). Make this Autumn a beautiful dream.
