Madd

Rage Against my own silence

By Ashley JohnsonPublished a day ago 1 min read

stop, stop, stop!! Stop, talking about yourself like that. Quit talking all that shit you know isn’t true. You know people love and support you, you that I do.

From his tone I coward, Silencing me as it always does. But, when I look back and ponder, my mind drifts with rage into his words; I wonder.

I wonder down that little rabbit hole as if curiosity stole my hat. My pride got in the way because I couldn’t seem to turn back.

Every breath I took seem to crackle without sound. But Im still too loud to succumb to the shackles as they dragged across the ground, binding me to eternity, repeating each day making me lay down and let you do with me as you may.

“I’m not talking shit for I’m not the problem. I’m stating out loud how internally I’m in pain trying to make sense of it all because I know I’m not insane. I’m emotionally drained

Although

I almost believed you, in that sense thank you for your courtesy, but action speak louder than words, I guess that’s why you never heard me.

When I returned home, the drink was in my sink cause looking for your support was as a small as the cookie I had to eat. Fixing it before time could run so late. If you knew Time as well as I do, you wouldn’t talk about wasting fate.

I must admit I’m curiouser in knowing how you could have thought that it was what you would seem to be’—. I could never understand the concept of ask, you shall receive.

See If everybody minded their own business, the world would go around a great deal faster .

And for that it’s odd for you to assume that I was anything more than a mad man alone inside a empty room.

Because I’ve been nothing but mad from the end to the very start. For that I’m sorry, but my spades defeat your queen of hearts.
