Love & Betrayal

Love was a gentle breeze, soft and warm,

A sheltering embrace, a heart’s calm.

Eyes that spoke in silent dreams,

A world wrapped in golden beams.

You held my hand, you swore to stay,

Through every night, through every day.

I built my world around your name,

But love, it seems, is a cruel game.

Your words were honey, sweet and deep,

Yet full of lies that made me weep.

Each "forever" was just a play,

Each "I love you" faded away.

I gave you trust, I gave you me,

But you were not the one to be.

Behind that smile, behind that touch,

Lurked a truth that hurt too much.

Dhokha came like a storm so wild,

Tearing apart the dreams I styled.

The love we swore, the life we planned,

Turned to dust, like grains of sand.

Nights grew heavy, days felt long,

Every song lost its song.

Memories burned like fire untamed,

Heartbeats whispered your cruel name.

But love, though broken, learns to heal,

With time, with tears, with wounds that feel.

Betrayal stings, but it won’t last,

For even pain will fade to past.

One day the sun will shine again,

Through love, through loss, through all the pain.

I will rise, I will be free,

No more chains—just only me.

Thanks for your interest.
