Shoveling Snow

By D.L. FinnPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Hanging onto his retirement dough.

Ignored offers of help,

Back twisted with a yelp.

Makes that call, hearing a smug hello.

Dear D.L. ~ Just love your 'Original' Quips and eclectic offerings among the many snippers with sharp scissors of late. I've never shoveled snow as an old guy - 'Got-Dough' to call 'The Guy' if need be. *I've subscribed with pleasure Jay, Jay Kantor, Chatsworth, California 'Senior' Vocal Author - Vocal Village Community -

I sense a heating pad in the vicinity of this one. Cleverly crafted, but I'm not sure he would agree, LOL.

Oh my goodness. This reminds me of my mom who insists on gardening and hurts her back every time.
